Need Gunsmith for #1 Ruger trigger work

I am in search of someone to fix a problem with my #1. I had some trigger work done a few years ago and now the rifle is firing when the safety is taken off. I live in the NW Ohio area, and I am willing to drive a ways to have someone competent work on it.
As there is not much out there on the operation of these triggers, I would be going in blind to try and resolve the problem myself.
Thanks for your suggestions
Chuck

Without knowing what work was done by the original 'smith, it is difficult to recommend any remedial action. It really depends on what pieces were worked on. The safety should lift the hammer off the sear and it is critical that there is enough sear engagement to hold when the safety is released. Often, sear engagement was reduced by stoning away some of the hammer. I preferred to install an adjustment screw or a pin to limit engagement. That way engagement could be increased if necessary. There is a lightweight replacement hammer available which would be a good place to start. WH

I shall update when I install the new trigger.
Will:
I shall inspect the sear on the hammer for any molestation, If any doubt I will replace the hammer also.
Thanks
Chuck

I installed the trigger yesterday. The weight of pull ended-up at 26 oz. The overtravel is about a 32nd of an inch. Any less would not allow it to re-cock. Overall, not too bad of an experience and my safety now functions as it should.
Thanks for all the advice
Chuck
