need an adjustable gas block with a 1.05 id...

ok facts..i have a heavy bbld ar15 in 223, it is 1.05 at the muzzle and has a gas block. i want to change to an adjustable gas block but am having no luck with large dia blocks. any suggestions on where to find one ??
yep big and heavy but accurate with br 52's

Sounds like a custom one off.
 
How about modifying the gas block that you have to convert it to adjustable? You can drill and tap a hole that passes through the gas tube and use a set screw to adjust the gas flow, once you find the correct setting a dab or two of thread lock should keep it in the same setting for a while.

Yes this will weaken the gas tube but once it is covered by the handguard it is pretty well protected. Maybe if you intend to use the gun to go to war weakening the gas tube probably is not that bad of an idea. Given this forum and the diameter of the barrel I doubt you built it for if the SHTF situation or for LEO applications.

It's not a difficult job, but why drill the gas tube?
Just drill and tap from the front -underneath the tube, -the same as many other AGB's.
You can use a single long setscrew, or a shorter one, followed with a locking screw.
This also allows adjustment from the front, rather than hidden inside the handguard.
