Need a true gunmaker for a custom wood stock

I have an itch to turn my engraved marlin 1894 carbine into a full stock.

I'm going high end on the wood and want to encase the entire
Mag tube in the stock then continue the remaining 3/4" or so
And cap it off elegantly.

I know winchester used to make their 94 with an almost full stock.

I am also aware that the barrel band needs to stay in place so I'm
Thinking that an escutcheon up front in the wood that accommodates a longer mag
Tube to barrel fastener would hold her on nicely.

Question is, who might take this on.

I would call Bullberry or look them up on the web they do full stocks for the winchester and they have some pics of the beautiful wood they offer. they are also some of the best people you can deal with.

Not going to say that you will have similar results because I knew Doan from my old Palma days...so, we had a history. I told him that I was in kind of a bind because Kelbly's had stiffed me on delivery of a stock. If he would build my stock, it could weigh no more than 4# drop dead max weight. He felt confident that he could meet my max weight and he started gluing the spruce/woven glass laminations on 17 Sept. He finished that stock last Friday and it was well within my weight restrictions. He is shipping the stock tomorrow morning.

This is a Mauser 250-3000 Jim carved.
