need a starting load for a new 6.5 x 47L using Berger 140 g. match targets bt

I'm just starting to work up loads for a new rifle (Pierce action in a Eliseo "tube", Lilja 27" barrel, AI magazines.
I bought 500 rnds. of Berger 140 g. Match Target BT bullets when I ordered the gun.
Most of the posts I've read have dealt with 130 g. and lighter bullets.
Has anyone worked up a load similar to my components?
I have some RL 15 and 4350. I thinking about RL 17 as well, as that is supposed to behave like 4350.
Any suggestions for a light starting load would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Dave

I have had fantatic accuracy with the Berger 130 VLDs. The 123-130 grain bullets seem to be perfect for this cartridge. Are you dead set on the 140 grain bullets? There is a reason why everything you read is for a different bullet. Worst case is that you could sell the 140s to fund a different choice. Or maybe someone will be along shortly to tell you the 140s work perfectly fine, with the load info you need.

N550 works good with 140 class bullets, start at 38 and work up.

With RL 17, start at 39 and work up, you should see things coming together around 42.0 gr.

H4350 also works, start at 38.0 gr. and work up.

Good luck and let us know how it shoots!
