Need a gun value - Dan Wesson SSC .40 1911 LNIB

I know these are getting harder and harder to find and I can't even find one that's sold in the last year anywhere. Hate to buy a gun value book or pay for an online service for just one pistol. Guessing $1,600-$2,000.

Any help would be greatly appreciate. I hate to list a gun without some info, preferably recent sales of a similar gun. Thanks!

To provide a reasonably accurate sales price photos of the gun in detail are required. field strip it take close up photos and the at least four more of the assembled gun - right, left, top and bottom - maybe front and back views.

Like new. Less than 50 rounds fired. Bought it New Old Stock. Probably not a cleaner one out there. Thanks.

My son sold his (in pristine condition) in September last year for $1100.00. Essentially the price he paid for it new. They are worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay.

I hear you. I'll probably just throw it on Gunbroker with no reserve. Might list it on 1911 forum first for a couple days though. Always prefer my "babies" go to a knowledgeable gun guy that will appreciate and take good care of them when I decide to part with one.
