Need 6.5X284 load info

I do the reloading for my father, who shoots with me in F-class, but this time he came up with a caliber that I haven't been following up on. What I need is some people's pet loads for the 6.5x284. It's a Savage 12 F-Class straight from the factory. Biggest problem is time, I'm running out before the next match, and I have my own new rifle coming shortly that I'll have to work up loads for, (though I went with a rifle in a caliber that I had been shooting for a year).
I have on hand Norma Brass, Fed 210m primers, Berger 140VLD's, Sierra 142 MK's, H4350, and lastly IMR 4831. Any info pertaining to a recipe with these ingredients would be greatly appreciated. Just looking for something that has proved to be a good load to start with or try.

Thanks in advance.

47.5 H4350 typically works well with that combo, and the bullets in the lands .010" - .015". Norma brass is typically a little soft relative to Lapua. You may be able to go a little more but that would depend on how things work with you particular set up.

I had a savage F class 6.5*284 and had good results from 142 SMK and 49gr of 2209 (H4350) with 15-20 thou jump. This is a bit of a go to load in the three barrels I have had since and plus or minus 0.5 gr seems to work on all.

I agree with rcw3 on brass difference and his suggestions seem like a very good place to start (maybe even slightly lower).

Cheers
Cam
