Lapua cases, how much change in neck thickness, going from 6.5 to 6mm ? For use in no turn chambering.

Resize one case and measure it.I would bet less than .0015 of extra will show up when sizing.

It is assumed the neck gets thicker and or thinner, when necking up and or down there is never a consideration given to the possibility the neck gets longer and or shorter.

I can think of 5 case products Lapua provides in 6.5mm / .260. I doubt a 6mm variant made from any of them for use in a no-turn chamber would be of concern over this.

At most you might see 0.002" growth where neck thickness is on the order of 0.016" (maybe 6.5x55 Swede?) with less as necks thin towards the 6.5 Grendel end of the product range.

Note too going from larger to smaller is more commonly understood to be "necking down." You made your goal clear in your post however so this is me being nit-picky....
