Neck turning question

Hi, I just got my rifle from KMW in 260 REM. He didnt send me any chamber specs, but this is a "match", no turn chamber. I bought a bunch of R-P brass and just found the charge of H4350 that works well with my gun,43.7gr). For the next shooting session I decided to sort the cases by thickness. Using a sinlair neck gauge I culled any cases with more than 0.0015" variance. I decided to turn these necks. I took almost 0.002" off the necks - the smallest amount possible while gaining near 100% uniformity. All this to ask if I should expect any changes in velocity of my loads due to turning off a small amount of brass? advise is appreciated and thanks ahead of time

Hi Powerlock
I would turn all the necks on all the cases so they are all uniform for neck tension.I don't think you will notice any velocity changes with a little less bullet grip.

The best way to tell would be to shoot them both ways over a chronograph and see what happens.
If your not using bushing dies, you should be to control the neck tension.
Some combinations will shoot better with more neck tension than with out.
