Neck turning cases?

When turning my necks on my 6mm Br. Iam trying to get a .267 loaded round. Does the cutter getting warm make measurment different and also after shooting the new brass does the necks get thicker? Thanks

I don't understand.
You have a neck mic to measure your neck thickness with, right?

I have never seen turned necks,or any other) get thicker from firing.

Thanks. Your right. Its getting to hot. I was using 3 in 1 oil but maybe the wax will do better. I have some i need to try it.I also got in the mail my new dial indicator. Its digital and it measures in the .0001 .I think the neck beening to thick is being inbetween. Like .0124, instead of .012, Thanks for replies eveyone.

A few of my rifles have had the turned brass go bigger in neck diameter after they have been once fired. Usually after it has been turned again it never grew any more.
I always check that after every time fired.
