Neck Turning 7 wsm standard Sammi chamber

Gunsmith that chambered my rifle said he used a standard sammi reamer do I need to neck turn ?

No, you will not have to neck turn but you still can if you want to clean up the inconsistencies in the brass.

Sammi chamber are so "loose" you will only need to skim turn if you want too, not necessary.

I would turn them, but only a slight skim to knock off the high spots, I have noticed a marked reduction in group sizes from doing that on Win 7-08 necked down to 260, most cases only get about a 50% cut.

You don't have to turn necks , but as others have said , you could turn 1 or 2 thousands off to clean up . Trouble is I haven't seen any brass lately that will clean up after 2 thousandths . I just got a new lot of Lapua 260 Rem brass and it took .003 to clean it up :-\ !
