so in my first post, i showed how a dillon 550 can be used to speed up the prep process in neck turning when doing large lots.
with the necks turned next is fire form prep.
this is 6 dasher and i use a 25 cal false shoulder, no bullet and fast pistol powder.
so 2 dies in a dillon tool head, a 25 cal expander and then a neck/or bushing fl sized with a less than bbl neck dia bushing...just a couple under is fine. adjust length of neck sized so you can feel a little resistance when closing the bolt..holding the case against the bolt face.
then off to a range for fire forming. i take water, a towel, some carbon remover. shoot 25 or so with a wet towel on the bbl, then clean and repeat
