I believe my neck diameter in my barrel is .294 but I wasn't absolutely sure so I went back on my gunsmith to make sure.
He said that he necks down so that when he reloads his loaded brass springs back to .294 and fits snug in the chamber.
This didn't sound right to me and I told him that I neck down so that I have about 2,3, thousandths clearance.
If my neck diameter in my rifle is .294, am I correct in having a loaded round at.292, .291 or am I the one that is wrong?
