Necessary neck turning before fire forming

I'm going to be fireforming 6 BR to 6 BRA and it's a .268 neck, so I need to neck turn before fireforming.
Does this look right?
Or should I go a little less into the shoulder like the second picture?IMG_20240514_152137881.jpg

If you have fire formed brass for the 6 bra, measure the neck length then trim the new brass to that length. You just want the portion of the neck that will be holding the brass trimmed after fireforming.

Does the neck shoulder junction move during the forming? If it does, I would just turn the neck enough for firing clearance, then after you have formed, do the final pass and end as you desire on the shoulder.

I reformed some 30-06 brass for my 25-06. With this large neckdown, the junction moved considerably. So turning after forming worked much better.
