I have a couple of buddies shooting down there...I'm not a BR shooter, I shoot F-Class...

But looking at the results it looks like Relay 3 really got the shaft. Must have been windy.
Looking at HG Score, the best Relay 3 competitor was is 24th place, the same for HG Group.

1.215" 5 shot group at 600 was the smallest of the day.... Way to Go Jeff Locke (@newbieshooter ).

1.807" 10 shot group at 600 by Bert Croy.

100-7x in HG... by Jette ... nobody even close.

Great Shooting!

A see it often in aggregate match results, but usually not that devastatingly. That one stands out bad.
Those in that relay are pretty much shit-out-of-luck. If it was me, I'd save the ammo and barrel.

Great shooting indeed '
It's a privilege for me to belong to the same range and be able to watch and learn from some of these top competitors like Rich jette, Jeff Locke and Jeff Whitt.
There dedication hard work and focus are an example for anyone who ask themselves how can I do that?
These Gentlemen conduct themselves win loose or draw with the heart of a champion.
They are always willing to help a fellow competitor and even an old man like me.
Thank you all as always much respect
Jim

Good job Robert Hoppe.
Yes the third relay each day took a toll.
Thanks Jim for the fine comments.
You can't ask for a better group of guys than shooters. The bad apples in the pile are very small compared to all rhe great ones. The knowledge and experience and help that is given to help each shooter if they ask is
amazing. It's no wonder that world records are being set in most every big match.

Thanks jeff

I guess this is a good a place for my first post on this site. I have been lurking a fair amount here. I am coming back back to LR BR after a 11 year gap—I shot 1K in Tucson 2005-2007 and these Nationals are my third match back. The game has stepped up since then.

I am especially impressed with the people. Everyone is very helpful and willing to share what works for them—even with a competitor during a match. The match organizers and volunteers work very hard and deserve special thanks.

I encourage everyone to come give this sport a try. In Oregon we have several more matches this year in both in Medford (Rogue Valley Shooting Sports Association) and in the Portland Area (Tri-County Gun Club)—the clubs at the top and bottom of the link.
