nBig Case 22s , 20s , and 17s

Just recuperating from from some Medical Problems , and am stuck at home . But it's still fun to think about the recent Posts on Big Varmint Cartridges which I like to collect . I have accumulated some Data on Water Case Capacity , but there are often some key bits of Information on the Wildcat Cases which are missing . There is some variability in different Brands Case Capacity , and in whether the Case is Standard or Fireformed to the particular Wildcat . I'm going to List what I have and would appreciate it if anyone could correct anything which looks weird and Supply the Brass Maker and the Water Case Capacity which you have measured yourself ....and whether it was Fireformed or not and any other Info. you think pertinent . It would be great to get Info. on the Big Case 20s and 17s : 22-250 = 45 Gr. Water ; 22-250 AI 28 Deg = 48 ; 220 Swift = 48-51 ; 220 Weatherby Rocket =50 ; 22-243 Middlested = 53 ; 22-308 Cheetah = 53 ; 220 Swift AI 40 Deg. = 55 ; 22-257 Clark = 64 ; 22-284 = 64-67 ; 22-06 = 65-70 . Thanks for any inputs !

Host , you should see the 22-300 Weatherby Improved some clever Experimenter sent me a few years ago . C'mon Guys .......some of you should have some big Case Water Capacity Figures on the 20s and 17s that I can add to my List !

call me the 'frugal shooter'.....the biggest overbore cartridge I've ever run was the 20BR...yes its gone...replaced that chamber with a 20-222...23 grs powder opposed to 31...much less heat/recoil/noise/wear..I also consider the cost of dies in these super wildcat rds...parent brass for me is also another consideration...especially these days..Lapua offers the best brass in the business...if they build the brass I consider the cartridge...get well soon & get out shootin'............

I have seen a couple of 50 BMG cases necked down to 17 cal. The most over bore I have ever seen that was use was a 50 BMG necked down to 6mm. The most overbore I have ever owned is a 300 Win. Short Mag. necked to 6mm. I`m still working on it and just picked up a pound of 50 BMG powder for it today.
