National Full Bore Rifle Prone Championships/Spirit of America Matches

The National Full Bore Rifle Prone Championships also known as the Spirit of America Matches will be held at the Whittington Center in Raton New Mexico September 11-17, 2011. Practice on Friday the 10th.

I am thinking about attending this match and shoot F/TR. How big of F/tr turnout is expected? I noticed that if there are not enough F/TR shooters they will combine them with F open. I just didn't want to have all the expenses of going and not have a great turnout in F/TR. Is it considered a national match for F-class?

It is considered a National Championships for FB prone F/TR. Last year there were 15 entires for F/TR. Contact match director at LTCOLJFRICE@YAHOO.COM for this years entries.

One thing is for sure if you show up there will be one more than there would have been.

There will be quite a few of us open guys there but I'm not sure about ftr.
