n150 in 6.5x47 lapua?

anybody tried any n150 in the 6.5x47 lapua yet?just curious...

I haven't tied it, but N140 would seem to be a better fit. N150 is a bit on the slow side given the case capacity.

I haven't tried it either. VV powders are hard to get around here, and I'm not about to pay Hazmat charges on small lots of powder that might not work out for me.

Here's what Lapua/VV shows on their site for N150 -

108 Scenar start 36.3gr max 40.6gr
123 Scenar start 34.4gr max 37.8gr
139 Scenar start 32.4gr max 36.0gr

I'm using N150 in my 6.5x47 Lapua silhouette rifle. With 139 Scenars, 36 grains gets me 2650 fps. 36.8 grains yields 2720 fps. 100 yard groups less than .3". I didn't try N140, but RL-15 flattened my primers at similar velocities.

RL-15 works fine for me up to 3025 fps with the 108's.

I AM USING VIT 150 IN MY 6.5X47 LAPUA WITH VERY GOOD RESULTS.

39 GRAINS VIT 150, 123 GRAIN LAPUA, CCI MAG PRIMERS,= 2950FPS.

F CLASS IN HEAR IN ENGLAND IS GROWING ALL THE TIME,THE CLUB I SHOOT WITH HAS ABOUT 25 PEOPLE SHOOTING AT ANY ONE TIME.
WE MOSTLY SHOOT AT BISLEY RANGES,WE SHOOT THE SAME RULES AS YOU DO IN THE US IE 300- 500- 600- 900- 1000 YARDS.
