N140 or N150 with the 105gr Berger Hybrid

Hi,

I’m just wondering if anyone has experience or strong views on which one of these two would be most suitable for the Berger 105 hybrid in the 6mm BR ? Ideally, I’m looking for approx 2850 fps in a 28” barrel. Thx

Try both if you can. Throw in some Rel-15, Varget, H4895, AR-Comp, 4064,8208. Many excellent powders, availability however, may be an issue.

I think you will find that BOTH work well. However, it is doubtful you will reach 2850 with N140. You will however, reach it with N150 or a powder you have not mentioned, N540!

Yes I'm trying to avoid the N series and hope the slightly longer 28" will make up some of the difference. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

29gr n140 in Norma case works for me, but I will do a work up with n150 next time. Both are great powders.
