I'm going to try N135 in my 6x45. I am replacing my IMR 4895 loads, cutting back a couple of grains and trying 3 different bullets, 85,95, & 105 grain bullets. Barrel is a 1:8 X-caliber, on a Savage action that is T&T with a 2 oz. trigger in a McMillan edge. I'll be playing with this while waiting for my 6mm barrel for my Panda that will be for BR short range group and score.
I just want to see how this will shoot with the 135-, 6- or 7-year-old reloads with the 4895 shot into 0.617, 5 shot groups at 100, and I want to see if I can improve the groups. Weather will not be very good for shooting until end of week (to windy) so it will be a few days before I go out.
