N135 or ?

I'm gpoing to be working up loads for a new barrel in 6BR.
The barrel is fron Brad and is a 12 twist .030 FB.
I'll be shooting Barts Avengers.
I have several one pounders of H322,Varget, RL15, H4895.
I don't want to, but will, test all of them to see what the barrel likes.
I would love to buy a jug of N130-135 as it is availabe now but would like to know it would be a good
choice for the 12 twist with the 68s.
Anyone who has used the N130-135-140 in the combo please chime in.
Thanks, G

n135 is an excellent option, maybe the best or most likely to perform option. H322 is another very good option. Around 32.0 of n135 and around 30.8 or so with h322. Both fairly hot loads so work up to there or about it with 68 class bullets. I like to start either into the lands a bit or just off. Between .010 in and .010 out will usually yield a sweet spot in regard to seating depth. Can't really say you've tested a 6BR and light bullets without trying n135 in it.

whats your set up?
Not JCM but I've had many different setups and n135 is a pretty safe bet. I use to buy several 6BR's here and elsewhere, where people weren't happy with the accuracy they were getting, often with Varget and light bullets. As soon as they told me they were using that combo, it was almost a green light to buy it and put some n135 under light bullets and I really don't remember one that didn't improve pretty dramatically from that alone. Varget is hard to beat under heavies but it's not near the top of MY list for light bullets in a 6BR. FWIW. I guess lots of people read on forums that Varget or h4985 was THE powder, they stopped there.

Al,
Set up is a Savage LRPV with like I refered to with a Urbanrifleman 12 twist with
.030 Free Bore.

G&Gsmithing,
I started off with some 80GR Sierra Blitz that I picked up over 32 GR of Varget just to
get some rounds through the barrel.
I got a .177 five shot group on my 11-15th rounds!
The first five were less than a 1/2 inch too.
Shooting the Bart's avengers over 30.5 H322 gave me SD of 7 and consistantly in the three's for six groups.
Brad at Urbanrifleman sells a great product at a very reasonable price and is a stand up Guy to boot.

Hey, if it'll consistently shoot teens, it ain't broke. Nice! I wasn't trying to knock anything or anybody. Go with what works for ya.

Is Benchmark a option for the lighter weights? Just looking at my shelf and see jug of Benchmark, AR Comp, and Varget.

I realize each barrel/bullet has its own likes, but it's a 2hr drive one way to pick up anything, if they even have it.

In my first post I mentioned one of my 2 best loads was with N-135. The other is with AR-Comp. Super with 64-68 gr bullets.

I used N135 in my 8T Krieger barrel 6BR various 85grn bullets were used, accuracy was good.i loaded some with Varget one day just to see how it performed and it transformed the rifle instantly.good groups went to really tight groups consistently.some things aren't always set in stone.
