N133 for the .20 Practical

Care to share starting loads for the .20 P using 39 or 40 gr Sierra's or Berger's using N133?

I used it with 40vmax and had decent accuracy right around 24.4gr.

For 39 & 40 gr pills, I started at 23 and worked up in .2 increments. I settled at 23.7. Velocity in a range of 3650 for best ES. All loads liked being jumped .010.
Add on: 133 is the cleanest burning I've found for that and other small case calibers. I clean my 20Ps around 50 rounds.

Anyone have issues with n133 metering through a Dillon loader? Mine does not meter that great.

any 223 powder will work with the 20 Practical..........

work with what you have on hand.......IE...H4895....Benchmark....IMR8208...

yes.....even N133......start low & work up.........simple......

just remember that v133 is not very temp IN-sensitive.

Thanks for the replies guys. 2 1/2 weeks ago the smith was getting ready to thread and chamber my new barrel and said it would just be a matter of days and it would be ready. Here I sit still waiting.

N133 = my pet load powder in CZ527 Varmint w/Berger 35's @ 3750 isn't a high velocity load but very accurate !

Thanks. Pretty much have settled on N-133 with a 40 gr. VMAX. Just haven't decided on the load yet, (grains). By the way, my barreled action will be here Monday!! Finally I get to piece her together. Bed the lug area first so I should be at the range Thursday. Can't wait. If it turns out to be a good shooter it will go in the safe for a short time while I get the bolt bushed and a bigger knob installed.

I've used Benchmark with good results, especially the 39 and 40 gr. bullets. I have not tried RL-10. Honestly, I have yet to try something that doesn't work pretty well in the .20 Practical. Love the little round.

The Benchmark is to lot-variable IMHO, use the R10X, almost as accurate as 133 and cheaper.

Well I got the rifle all put together, finally. Got some loaded with N133. But, I think I'll go ahead and load some with 8208 also. Dang...Gotta wait until Tuesday to touch them off.
