Mystery .45 case?

I found this after shooting and picking up my brass but I'm not sure if it's mine. I shot some factory and 10 reloads of Titegroup and Bullseye in RP brass with a 200gr LRN. I shoot a Ruger 1911.

You can see the primer was flattened out and there's a slight bulge near the bottom where the case is unsupported. I didn't see this until I cleaned my brass.

I did have one round of Titegroup that recoiled harder and shot 4 inches higher. I stopped and checked my barrel and everything looked fine and the pistol shot fine. I only loaded 10 rounds with 4.1 grains which I weighed every round. I check my 505 with check weights at the beginning of every session so it was on the money.

I mark my brass but this didn't have the mark. Could have come off at the cleaning. Could be somebody else's brass or maybe my 505 lied to me on one charge. There's a lot of loose sand at the spot I shot and its hard to find your brass and come across other brass left by others.

So? I'll double check my scale before I use my powder drop to do some large amounts of reloads. I'll also check my brass before cleaning to pick up wierd stuff like this before my marks come off. Comments?

High pressure signs. Check for bullet setback on chambering. Neck tension should be sufficient to keep bullets from moving.

Mark your brass head with a magic marker. Then you will know what fired brass is really yours.

Fired from a Glock. Because of the bulge, just junk it.
I was thinking Glock but the primer is very round in shape. Some of those round type Glock firing pins still have a unique shape from pictures I've seen.

Well I'll load up some more Titegroup and shoot on a cement firing line where it's easier to find my brass. I'll check my scale, neck tension, the bullet diameter and see what turns up.

Put that case in the round circular file. No sense obsessing over one piece of brass.
Take a couple of minutes and mark your brass, red magic marker in the extractor groove.

I always marked my 45ACP brass after reloading, never had my mark disappear after shooting the round, only after tumbling.
