My scope rings free

I was at a salvage yard a while back and someone had scraped a bunch of 22 rifle 1 '' scope rings - mounts. I decided to buy them and make a few bucks. So I took off my good jacket so as I wouldn't get it dirty scrounging in the trash bin. When I got back home my wife asked what happened to your new shirt, it has grease on the front. Oh man. So I advertise them at 1/2 price of retail = No sales. So I advertise them 2 for 1/2 price of retail = No sales. I advertise them free just pay postage = No sales. Here I am wondering how I am going to get out of the dog house because of my stained shirt and a box of these rings setting in my living room on proud display for all my friends to see. Did I say my wife is not happy?

Any advice?

You could sell them for scrap.

Put an ad up asking to trade for a new shirt. Find what color your wife likes best on you, ask for that in trade, and make her happy again.

I don't know who makes them as no label.
They are 1 inch, 3/8 Th's or 11mm dovetail mounts I believe. Is that right for a 22 or pellet gun?
I have like 20 of them. Some perfect and some with dings that could be blued or black magic marker.

anybody got a new blue shirt size XL T to trade? Or my wife likes to shoot 22 how about a brick of shells LOL.

You might be right. However I bought them on the cheap and thought I would do people a favor and sell a quality piece at a dirt cheap price.
