My Review of Nikon's ED82 spotting scope

I got the Nikon 25-75 power ED82 to use at the 200,300 and 500 yard groundhog target shoots. To say I'm impressed is an understatment.....Even in very bad mirage I had little trouble spotting 6mm holes at 500 yard...In fact in one 500 yard relay I was spotting for 3 people at one time.Because the scopes their spotters were using couldn't cut. Before the mirage picked up I could see every hole in the 1000 yard backer...If someone is looking for a long range spotting scope...Take a look at the Nikon ED82..Think you may be suprised

I looked thru the spotter on the same day...definitely impressive for the $$ when compared to Top end stuff...

Can't wait to play with it a little more at Williamsport where every top end spotter is represented...I bet it will hold its own with spotters that cost 1.5-2x as much...

Wow,if you guy's could pick out holes in the 500yd relay's on Saturday that is impressive.I could only catch a glimpse every now and then with my 60x. Thanks for the information.
