MY NEXT BUILD WITH O D CUSTOM RIFLES # 8

Nice 3 shot groups Bill, but you must have had two really bad fliers in each group though ;)

I'm actually glad you posted this thread with the #8 in the title. The first thing I did was show my wife. Now her reaction when I bring up my next build isn't quite as bad. I don't think I will reach your count, but I am working towards it!
Yea Zacks rifles are habit forming for sure. Cant have just one. LOL. Heck I had him build me two 260AI One 700 with sendero taper and one 40X with a H V taper. Both will out shoot me.

Just a note of reference. Definitely not nit picking any other barrel manf. but cleaning this 30BR 24 " Lilja 1 - 17 Twist H V barrel a bit ago and realized it "carbons" less than any of my other barrels. Just a few CLR wet patches thru it and clear as a bell. And this barrel has never shown me a hint of copper from day one even going thru the break in that I use with all barrels.

Got another one of Zack's builds on my bench today and wanted to see just how much difference 1/2 of a number division would actually change with the E C Tuner/Brake. As you can see on the target the top row is at setting 6 and the middle row set at 6.5 and bottom row are set at 5.5 This test was done with my Rem 700 6BRX @ 100 yds. 26 inch H V barrel shooting the Berger 105 gr. VLD @ 3060 fps. Load data was Peterson brass - VARGET 32.0 GR. & CCI 450M seated at .005 jam.

It sure looks like having that adjustability to tune that fine is very rewarding!
