My new rest

When I was working on my 1022 project I made a rear rest for it and it has sat there for quite a while unfinished. Since the trim in the 1022 is red and I was anodizing a bunch of stuff anyway hear is what I came up with. Now my front rest looks like crap. 0.jpg

I made 3 sets of feet for it black, silver and red

Scasa, looks great. When you redo it use fine thread on your horizontal adjustment.

Looks very nice. Do you have a picture with the rifle?

On the base, put some blue dots with center white dots.

Thanks for the nice comments and Butch is right it would have been better to use a fine thread on the adjustments but here in bumpkinville we just don't have access to such luxuries in the hardware dept. Just finding machine screws for projects is a nightmare. I have since found Bolt Depot and they have just about everything. It's been a big help, good prices and fast cheap shipping.
And for those wanting a pic of the rifle well here it is . It's still in kit form and didn't look very good on the rest . After I finish the 2 pistols this is the next project.IMG_0566.JPG
Found the doner rifle at the lgs before they closed. 98 dollars out the door. It was the early series with two guide rails and a walnut stock
