My New F-Open Rifle - BAT MB/Masterclass/TM Stockworks

It is finally finished! I am absolutely thrilled!

31" Krieger 1.25" - chambered in 6 Dasher (using Norma 6 Dasher Brass)
BAT MB Oct 1.4" Left load - right eject, diamond pattern bolt, 20 MOA integral rail, roller cocking piece
Masterclass/Sitman lowboy in black and blue - 3" removed from fore end - with cooling vents added
Adjustable butt plate and cheek rest
Inlet and pillar bedding by TM Stockworks
Alex finished this stock with a million coats of Sherwin Williams catalyzed varnish
Jewel BR trigger ~ 1 oz pull weight
Assembly and bolt timing - by owner
20.5 lbs as shown

Thanks to Steve at BAT, then Alex and Tom for their outstanding workmanship!

Nice! .02$ - scope ring closer to the front bell, rear too, will really take deflection pressure off that tube. If you put that on a bench at 100 and gently wedge your fingers between the barrel and objective, you’ll see the crosshairs move a lot with almost no effort set where it is. I know the cross hairs aren’t in the bell, but they still move. Have tried it.

I cannot wait to work up loads for this rifle!

The dang ice, snow and freezing weather really only allows for barrel cleaning and reloading.

They are saying 12” of snow and -15F this weekend in OKC! That is very unusual here.

I must say Alex Sitman is a first class guy, and we are so lucky to have these type of wonderful people supporting our shooting sports. The other stock guys wouldn't even answer my calls.

Nice rifle with a beautiful stock. I have a high end air rifle with the same Blue Electric laminate used for the stock. Pattern looks almost identical.

Thanks for the tip.

I actually have a March High Master here, to go on this rifle as soon as the rings arrive.

I might as well kill the credit card limit right?

Appreciate all the compliments!

So I lapped the new March rings today and mounted the high master 10x60 scope using the tips provided. Front ring is forward.

I leveled the reticle at the range to a 100 yard horzizontal tape line, that I made on the target frame with a 4’ level.

Froze my azz off. 16F ambient here - 3F with wind chill.

Gun would not fire the GM205 primers. Firing pin not moving with enough energy. Maybe grease in the bolt bore was sticky?
