had him a rifle made by Jon Beanland out in Gould, Oklahoma! Since Joel doesn't reload I told him to have it made in 6.5 Creedmoor caliber. This is Joel at the bench:

I had a 1-8 twist Krieger barrel out at Jon's place and I gave it to Joel for his birthday last year so it's on this rifle. Action is one Joel supplied in Rem M700. Stock is McMillan A5. Muzzle threaded 5/8x24 for suppressor which Joel doesn't have just yet.
Joel wanted me to test rifle so I fired 3 shots from 100 yards just to see if the NF would be on paper after bore sighting. It was!

After getting a solid zero and setting the scope knobs to zero settings we moved back to 600 yards and used Ballistic AE program for approximate correct elevation setting which was within 1 MOA of correct setting. Was shooting Hornady factory ammo of 147 gr. and this rifle is plumb damn boring to shoot! I've trained all my grandkids to shoot for years now and Joel pays attention very well as his marksmanship shows....as well as Jon Beanland's ability to build VERY accurate rifles! Joel fired ten shots from 600 and after a firm zero the impacts were hitting in the same location on the AR500 plate. We moved back to 800 and finally 1000 yards and this rifle put a grin on grandson's face all the way back!
