my experience with Nosler Accubond LR

I sighted in my O3A4 at 500 meters with Nolser 190 CC bullets and then switched to the new 190 Accubond 190 LR .I had to come down 4 1/2 minutes to hit same impact and was getting great grouping .I know recoil has something to do with sight setting but it sure was a surprise to me .

I only fired it at 500 meters on steel rams ,so don't know about closer ranges .I use 155 gr. for the closer ranges . My spotter said three rounds hit basically the same spot .The biggest reason I'm using these is I'm guessing they will put more energy into knocking the 50 pound ram down compared to the 190 CC bullet .

do both loads have the same zero at 100 or 200 yards ?

Exactly my thoughts. Just cuz you try a new bullet in the same load and it is hitting 'higher' doesnt mean it is flying flatter with more speed and energy. Identical SPEED and ZEROING needs to be confirmed with both bullets, then take them out to longer distances to see which one drops less.

You can guess all day long. You need a chronograph to determine energy.
