Really 2 questions.
1. A while back I purchased a used bolt action rifle and it had a muzzle brake on it (don't need it). I removed it and put a thread protector on it. It was a little short in length so I added an o-ring to bring it out closer to the muzzle. Do you think this will affect my groups with the o-ring or should I not bother with it. Either way it only protects the threads and not the crown but looks much better than nothing at all. Pic attached. Hope to get to the range this weekend to test it out without the muzzle brake.
2. Last weekend at a club match, a fellow shooter and reloader said he would size his brass twice and rotate it 180 degrees in between sizing so that it sized uniformly (his words and technique). I have never done that, but just curious if anyone else has tried this and had any positive results.
Thanks,
Tim
