Muzzle break for 35 whelen, must match barrel diameter and not have ports all around

We can use single shot 35 whelen for black powder in LA, I want to put a muzzle brake on mine that does not look like a 2 liter soda bottle or have ports all the way around. Ive made them in the past, and will again but looking to buy a few for some family members barrels and dont want to make that many.

Looking for ports on the top and sides only, must be .800 diameter or able to be turned down to that diameter, and must be threaded for or able to be threaded for 9/16 x24.

Ive looked at offerings by holland, shrewd, etc and none check all those boxes.

I buy blanks from Ross and turn/taper/thread them how I want. He'll do it for you if you want, or used to anyway.

Nathan has .800 brakes threaded 9/16-24 also.

Macs Gunworks

I've bought 2 from this company. Looks good, does excellent job. Give him a call and tell him what you're looking for.

That’s what I’m looking for thanks

They look good and fit the port requirement but offer no 9/16x24 or blank option
Did they tell you they couldn't do a 9/16x24? At the time I bought mine they told me they could match any thread pitch. That was less than a year ago.

can also try Hanks Precision
great pricing on self timing brakes
might have to turn and rethread a 12-24 but should work great

Yes and they are bigger than the barrel and can’t be turned down to match according to harrells
I've turned their brakes down before without issue.
That said, this one's getting pretty skinny. A .400 (prox) hole is bigger than anything I've ever bored in a 9/16" brake.
