Multi Load and Powder development

New rifle in .204. Trying three new powders in 5 various loads each. How often do you recommend I clean the barrel when shooting first loadings? Number of rounds? Change of powder? Rotate between powders? Number of fouling shots after cleaning before accuracy shots?

IMHO, I would start with a mid load round of a powder that has graphite in it. Shoot/clean until you see the barrel settle in and start grouping.

Unfortunately, don't use junk bullets, as they will not show the performance of this barrel.

After the above is done, your next step.......deep clean......then find out of this barrel likes to be shot with X number of rounds down the tube or if this barrel likes to be clean.

Every single barrel is different.....
