Mueller Scope Choice: APV or Target

My first post here so hopefully I didn’t overlook any intro rules.

Building a lower budget 10/22 (<$750 not including glass) so no Kidd triggers, etc. Plan to use it for 50-100yd bench shooting, mostly for range fun. I’d like to have a scope built more for target shooting and not hunting and, <$300. Searched some older threads on Mueller scopes which were helpful but didn’t address my question. Which would be a better all around choice: the 6-18x44 APV or the 8-32x44 Target?

I have an 8-32 on my 22 LR(CZ 455 Varmint) for punching holes in paper. I bought it on a pre-release special and other than the parallax adjustment being a little sloppy it has been a decent scope. So I've had it since they were first released.

I also had an APV and it is basically an entry level hunting scope as the reticle is pretty heavy. It worked fine and held zero, I passed it on to a budding coyote hunter and after he got good enough to appreciate a better scope he passed it on also. It never failed us just was limiting.

Just make sure the Parallax will adjust to 50 yds or shorter. Some scopes say 50 yds. but are really 55-57 yds. doesn't work for 50 yds.

Thanks for the replies. I had found both a 6-18x44 and an 8-32x44 in LNIB condition but just this afternoon came across a deal/steal on a new Vortex 6-18x44 AO that I couldn't pass up. My first Mueller will have to wait for my next rifle.
