Mueller Optics 40x56 Side Focus Target Dot

Has anyone used a Mueller Optics 40x56 Side Focus Target Dot scope. I am thinking of buying one for rimfire benchrest shooting.

Yup, I bought one a year or two ago just because it was winter and I needed something new to mess with. I sold it in the spring because I really did not need it. It shot just fine, glass was not bad for the price, I liked it better than the weaver 36x. It would not focus much closer than 20 yards or so (but I did not need it too). I only know that because a guy shooting air rifle wanted to know. One other thing to note, they are huge. Made a Vortex GE look tiny. All in all I would say if you are low on funds, and need a target scope, I really do not know of anything else in that price range that is as good as they are.
