Thanks Bill! I'm watching the weather and it's looking like rain on thru till sat afternoon. The range we use will be a literal swamp. We're shooting Saturday Steve.

Good luck Bill, let me know how it turns out! I'll likely wait for the rain to hopefully subside later this evening and shoot a couple of practice cards. We're shooting Saturday Steve.

You'll use them up fast!I reckon the currently pouring rain and 100% forecast for all day today won't even let me practice. I do have plenty of 50 yard targets now, due to a brain fart![]()
1220 higher on the BR50 target and 570 higher on the ARA compared to last month's wind debacle. Steady rain all day but it didn't affect the scores any.Good luck Bill, let me know how it turns out! I'll likely wait for the rain to hopefully subside later this evening and shoot a couple of practice cards.
I took my old tired Nissan 4x4 out there to a 500 yard balloon shoot once and was delegated range rider. That was fun! Up and down over the ridges, 18 degrees and ice, and then came the thaw! Woot! Its all good being wet, I shoot at a friends place in LaBelle that rubber boots and a knarly tired side by side are required to check the targets half of the year.
The guys I know out that way are shooting out to and over a mile across those ridges. Not sure they're shooting jugs tho.I hear all good talk about different ranges and hear some pretty col stuff. Next time I go to Tennessee I want to shoot at the Dasher dome. Last time I went through Mc Minnville going to shoot in Parsons I got caught in the rain and he to get my duffle out of the back of the truck cause I had pick up a guy broke down and he needed to ref a soccer game at the next exit. Road was being widened and I eased off between the cones and the drop was over a foot, i thought I was going to turn the truck over. Greg Tannell told of guys in Northern Alabama that shoot from one ridge to the next at jugs full of water. I think he said the loser from last shoot has to get up early and drive over and set up jugs.
