MTM 100 case mod for 6BR

I modded my MTM cases for the 6BR. I found a cheap hobby block pack for cheap. A drop of elmers in each hole, drop it in and let it dry. Now the cases are the same height as the 243.

I did that to three of them myself.

This was way faster. I did a 100 box in probably about 5-10 minutes. I was really surprised that it came out perfect. I mean, its a stupid thing, but I thought I would share.

why not just get the Frankfort Arsenel 512.... it's perfect for the 6br/30br round.

Which MTM case?

I use MTM RSS-50 boxes for 6BR but I am loading Sierra 107's and DTAC 115's, both of which load pretty long.

MTM spec's the R-100 case for 6BR and 8X57 Mauser so I would not expect it to fit well. I don't have any 100 round boxes for 6BR so not an issue for me. The RS-100 works great for 5.56, I have a few of them. MTM should make an RSS-100 for the 6BR and cases of that size.

Not for 243. For 6BR to make them the same height as 243.

Those only hold 50. These are the 100 round boxes. No one makes a 6BR 100 round box.

When I called and spoke to them they gave me a dimension for the internal height that was way too short.

(Yes I know how to use Google and a phone too!!!)

Anyway, it wouldn't matter, I like the MTM better and they stack with my other calibers instead of being an oddball. To each his own!!!

This is what I use for my br cases. Plenty tall enough for the longer bullets, and you don't have to modify it. Works perfect.

You don't "have to" modify the MTM I show. It just works better if you do. This box has the same internal dimension as the one I show.
