MPI Stock for 6BR in T3

I've got a Tikka T3 with a Bartlein 1:10 barrel in 6mmBR

I'd like to get a stock that rides the bags better but thats not too much heavier than the factory plastic stock,28oz)and that are still practical as a field walking rifle.

MPI are now inletting for the T3, and the following two of their stocks look interesting:

Chandler

Tactical

Both weigh around 24-28 oz, and can be lighter with the light weight option.

Anyone have either of these stocks?, any comments?

Do your self a favor and start looking at HS Presision, Manners or Mcmillan.

I bought one of those tactical MPI's and its nothing more than a cheap formica shell with expanding foam inside.. I should have sent it back but I was too busy at the time.

As soon as I got it, the first thing I thought was I should have spent the extra $90 bucks and got a HS prec.

I recommend you go with a Manners stock. I went with a Manners T4A stock for my 6BR build. Call and talk to Tom Manners, he is excellent to work with. Plus, it only takes about 10 to 12 weeks for delivery.

Do what 6BR said, I ended up going with the T4 stock too for my 6BR, and Im planning on ordering another one as soon as I can.
