One complaint I have with my MPA Pro chassis is that the cheekpiece is too slow to remove. I don't want to spin the detent/thumb wheel for dozens of clicks, and potentially undo the set screws. I like using the set screws in the cheekpice and buttplate because it removes that slight amount of wobble. Yes, I know MPA has a quick detatch cheekpiece, but this is a free (or ~$5) fix. If you have any old computers around, you may already have the thumb screws on an old case side panel.
One quick fix was to put (aluminum) thumb screws in for the set screws and then to move the thumb wheel to the top of the stock. This lets me loosen the thumb screws and lift off cheekpiece, and since I'm not spinning the wheel, it acts like a depth stop for making sure it's in the same spot every time.
I know a lot of you guys aren't chassis folk, but I hope someone gets an idea from it.
