mossberg training rifle

I aquired one of these today model mb 43 i believe single shot repeater but I dont have a clip the triggers feels real good on it. any of yall messed with these any. Joey

Bought a Mossberg target rifle, found that epoxy bedding the action improved accuracy greatly. The stock screw was bending the action when tightened. Used 5 minute epoxy steel putty, liberal shoe wax on the metal, roughened the wood under the action with a rat tail. Put double wrap of masking tape around the barrel to float the barrel, and just finger tightened the stock screw while the epoxy set. Sold the rifle at what I paid for it to the Boy Scouts($150), they loved it since it was a rare left hand model. Forgot what model #---40 something, only made 1936-8
