Mossberg Patriot Take Savage SM Shank Barrel

I had a Mossberg in 270.when I lived out West. Not a high dollar rifle by any means but it was a decent hunter, more than accurate enough to keep us in mulies, antelope and elk for a few years. Neat info on the barrels.

I rebarreled one for Wyman Meinzer and it had problems. The front factory scope base had a screw completely locked in the barrel. "NEW RIFLE" and it was that way from Moss Turd. After I got the screw out then threads made it very very difficult to remove the barrel. All said and done, it shoots great, but I'll never buy or fool with another!
