Over the 47 years of photography I’ve been fortunate to experience and see some intriguing and beautiful scenes.
Often times people assume I personally find all of my subjects but such is not always the case. Friends from a wide expanse of country often contact me to say they have observed things I might want to see. For that I am so appreciative.
A couple of days ago my brother called and said he found a pair of what appeared to be black-bellied whistling ducks with clutch of eight young in a stock tank. Of course I took my camera and drove the 11 miles to investigate. WOW what a wonderful scene met my eyes!!
I will be going back to document the progress of this little family until the young are mature enough to be on their own!
Images like this are good for my soul! Such natural beauty!
