If you want speed try RL26. 7828 and H1000 are also good. The 1000 will help with barrel life. I shot mostly H4831 in mine and it lasted about 1900.

Have you tried retumbo? I see guys saying h1000 a lot to try it, but have heard nothing about retumbo. If i could get that to work i could just buy more and load my norma mag and the slr

No I never did. My 6slr is gone. Rebarreled to a 6.5x47.

I believe Raptor tried Retumbo and had decent results in his SLR, but not a go to powder for him. My Competition Match as a larger capacity then the SLR, so I like a little faster powder.

Thanks for the reply, i have yet to try it, the dtacs have not showed up yet, have 4831sc ready, also need to ream out the throat of mine, the reamer was even short with 105's

Will these bullets be pointed? I'd rather they were not pointed so they may be sorted and pointed by the customer. I haven't purchased or sorted any DTACs in about 4 years, but the sorting and pointing helped them.

Called David Tubb's place today and they mentioned that the new DTACs might be in around the 1st or 2nd week in August.
