More help needed with Canjar / 700

After asking about the bolt release today I decided to install the cans are trigger on to my Remington 700

Here are two pictures, the Canjar trigger has an arm or something attached to the safety that will not allow the trigger
In the picture with the existing trigger I have my punch pointing at the arm that will not allow the trigger to slide into the receiver.

At this point I am assuming that these trigger is incorrect for the rifle?32D44E75-54DC-4256-B4D6-F534BC3E521A.jpeg

DONT THINK IT SERVES A PURPOSE I REMOVE THOSES OFF THE OLD WALKER STYLE TRIGGER SO THE BOLT WILL OPEN ON SAFETY INSTEAD OF BEING IN FIRE MODE

Looks to be an early model made to fit the 700's that have bolt that is locked when safety is on. Therefore as stated above it won't work on an action from IIRC '82 and newer? Or maybe it was '73????? Anyway any action/bolt without relief cut under bolt handle.

The arm serves to lock the bolt so that it cannot be opened when the safety is on. 700's with a locking bolt have a notch in the bolt body that the arm would engage into. The easy fix is to take a dremel cut-off and cut the upward protuding arm so that it does ot contact the bolt, or if you want a bolt that is locked when on safe then it is necessary to make a notch in the bolt body.

I have wacked off that arm on all the old Rem. 700s I have ever had so you can operate the bolt with the safety on. I think that locking the bolt when safety was on and then have to put the rifle off safety to unload was stupid.
