If you cant tell by now i am pretty excited about my 6mm dasher build that is in progress. I am trying to learn as much as i can about this chambering. How many rounds will i probably get out of my 8.5 twist 6mm dasher barrel? Also i have heard that the 6mm dasher isnt very accurate at 100 and 200 yards. What is the general thought on this subject? My chamber will be cut with a kiff standard reamer for 105gr Berger bullets. No turn and i think the lead is 104?? Will i get very good groups at 1-200 yards?? Thanks guys :Lee

Don't let anyone tell you that a Dasher won't shoot at 100/200! I fireform 10 shot groups at 100 yards into the .20-.30's all day, and will take your money if you bet I can't.... I shot this past weekend at 200 yards - it was pretty windy, so the results were'nt that great average about 3/4' inch 5 -shot groups..I did have one group go into the low .20's, but couldn't repeat it in the conditions..Once fireformed, EXPECT to shoot in the teens, and even .0's on a really good day...I've never had alot of luck with the 105 though - I shot the 108's...I've used the exact same reame as you have as well..you'll be more than happy with it!!

WOW!! What was that person smoking that said a DASHER will not shoot at 100-200?? You are going to be amazed when you do your fire-forming.

One thing I learned from a guy named LEO,,, the one word that goes with accuracy is CONSISTENCY!! Turn those necks. Even if just to 'skim', make them consistent. It may be a pain in the butt, but it's worth it.

Enjoy your DASHER,,, I love mine.
