???moly bullets?

Hello everyone, I'm new to reloading, and new to the forum, my question is, I'm relaoding for a 25wssm,not mine), and have been reading alot of controversy of these being barrel burners. I'm getting .75 groups, avg) with 120hp's, which is far superior to the 2"-3" groups with factory loads. I'm thinking of trying to load 85gr CT's with the lubalox caoting. Will this help the barrel last?

the 25wssm burns less powder than a 25-06 and should therefore be easier on barrels. how it is loaded, pressure)will effect throat erosion. case capacity is between 257 rbts and 257 ackley. hope this helps, treeman

i think that Tubb's throat maintenance system may be better for barrel life than using moly or lubalox.

i moly coat all my own bullets just because ive had good accuracy results and my barrels copper foul less. the patches come out almost black when cleaning, but they clean up faster than with naked bullets. i use wipe out often as well.

i use the lyman moly coating kit.
