Modifying a Lee collet die?

JohnD

Silver $$ Contributor
Looking for someone to modify a couple of Lee collect dies for me. This is to size a shorter
piece of brass in the same caliber. In my case, a .243 to 6XC and a .204 Ruger to .20
Practical. I have read about this being done before and if your familiar with this you'll
know what I'm talking about.

Thanks, John.

Have you asked Lee if they would make a sliding sleeve to adapt, say the 243 to the 6XC? Both my bench rest neck dies are Lee custom collet dies. They make custom mandrels for different sizing diameters, why not cut off sliding cylinders for shorter cases?
