Model 70 SA project questions

I have some components for a model 70 project and I’m wondering how well they’ll work together. I have on hand a 6.5 barrel , McMillan hunter edge stock for a SA Winchester , and the magazine box and follower out of a Winchester WSM SA M70. I want to build a 260 rem for hunting and would like to have the 3.05” magazine length of the WSM. Will the magazine box and follower I have work with the 260 rem. I’m not sure if the magazine well width is wider on the WSM SA. I’m sure the rails are cut differently for the WSM to feed the wider cases but not sure if the magazine box is wider and the 260 rem wouldn’t stack correctly to feed out of the WSM box. I’d buy a SA standard .473 Winchester for a donor if I’d work without too much trouble. I’m thinking it would only need some slight mods to the feed rails and shortening the bolt stop for it to work together but I’ve been wrong before and I’m certain I’ll be wrong again. I’d buy a Remington SA and put a Wyatt’s box in it but I own a great stock for a Winchester already that I’d like to use.
