Model 52 Winchester

I have Pre A 52 Winchester that was made in 1929. The rifle is not a collectors item by any stretch of the imagination. It has the original style stock on it but with modifications to the wood.

My question is, will a stock from a 52B, 52C etc work on my rifle with little to no modification? Are they somewhat interchangeable?
