I was wondering if the winchester push feed action share the same thread and size as rem 700 actions and if barrels could be adapted with out alot of expense I have a magnum action in need of a barrel and would like to keep the cost downand get it in 300 win anybody have any suggestions? I'm not looking for bench rest quality barrel something along the line of a take off but I know that might not be realistic. RW

Winchester threads are 1" X 16 TPI
Remington threads are 1 & 1/16" X 16 TPI
It is a simple Gunsmith job to fit a Remington barrel to a Winchecter action

I am in Washington State and have a selection of used Remington Barrels
Let me know if I can be of help.

The barrel off of the rem is 1 1/16 as stated but you have to turn the counter bore off the back of the rem barrel and deepen the chamber. It can be done with a fair amount of lathe work. After borescopeing rem factory barrels I would start with a new after market barrel from one of the known barrel makers.
