MN Midrange F-Class State Championship July 14-15

My wife Lisa and Amanda were the only two women, and they really gave the guys a run for the leader board. Lisa had her first crossfire Saturday, and she said she got mad and just finished the string as fast as she could, regardless of score. She was in third place for Sunday's match, only dropping one point. (At the same time as Chris and Joe, BTW...) It will be just a matter of time before one of these talented ladies takes it all!

It was a fun match to run, everyone was gracious, patient and fun. True competitors don't complain, they just persevere and win. I am looking forward to the regional in two weeks, then I can shoot the LR state championships and then go hunting!

Thanks to all who attended. We review our performance as a club after each match and strive to be better each time. I hope it shows.

Fun time, as always, despite my interrupted match. I doubt that it changes the rankings, but looking at the pdf download, open seems to have 6 matches while ftr has 5, and besides the top three open scores, almost every other agg score I check (including every ftr score) does not compute, fyi.

I noticed that too. My stat queen changed it last night and I will update it

Thanks for everything! It was a great match!!

Congrats Joe Meyer and Jeff Dick..what a shoot out....Jeff don't feel to bad Joe has done that crap to me more than once! :D:D
I never feel bad about shooting with a great group of shooters. Even if they are all in the 9 ring. I just really enjoy this sport, but more so the people in it. Joe was definitely pounding that's for sure. I had a rifle I've been having issues with since 2016 and that is the rifle I ran all weekend. I'm confident the issues are worked out. Now time to do some load development with it.

I knew Jeff and Chris were shooting really strong, and I didn’t dare ask about x-count. I was just trying to stay clean, take x’s when I could. In the end, I had a couple more. On another weekend, it probably would end a different way.

Thanks to Scott and crew for putting on the match.
